Jennifer Alvey-Dzierzysnki LMT, MMP, CKTP (Owner of Pro Muscle Care) - Peru/Lakewood

My massage career began in 1999 after graduating from Waubonsee College in Sugar Grove Illinois. For the first 10 years, I worked primarily with chiropractors, orthopedic surgeons and with athletes. In 2010 I continued my education becoming certified in medical massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage, Rock blades (ASTEM), Kinesiotaping, cupping and AIS (active isolated stretching). Originally from the Chicago suburbs, I opened my first clinical practice in Peru in the spring of 2013 with the intention of helping people recover from chronic injuries and pain conditions in the local community. Over the past 6 years, we have successfully treated over 2000 clients, We have just opened a second location in Lakewood Colorado servicing the surrounding area including Golden and Morrison.

I am skilled and experienced in working with most injuries in all areas however, my focus work is hip mobility primarily the piriformis, psoas and sciatic issues affecting stability, pain, and performance.

After a long 5 year stretch, I am currently completing my M.S in Dietetics through Kansas State University. I am currently practicing health coaching. After becoming a Registered Dietician, I plan to practice clinical nutrition health for metabolic disorders in addition to massage therapy.

When I’m not working or studying, you can usually find me on a hiking adventure, riding motorcycles with my husband or anything else outdoors and adventurous.

The reason I became a massage therapist was to help people. I try to educate my clients, help them manage their pain from every day life and work related tensions. I provide an
understanding of why their shoulders may feel tense, why their neck hurts or why their sciatic nerve keeps flaring up. Stress is real. It can do major damage to your body if not addressed
properly. My expertise can eliminate stress, increase blood flow which will release positive chemicals in the brain to help you relax naturally. With dedication and consistency your
carpal tunnel, arthritis pain, sciatic nerve pain or any other aches and pains from everyday life will be worked away with my massage knowledge. I am most comfortable with deep tissue massage This is my promise to you to help you feel better.

Start a new plan in life. Feel great again. Get your body back!
I have been a massage therapist for almost a decade. I specialize in deep theraputic muscle massage, glide cupping, stretching muscles and trigger point releases. All you need to do is make an appointment with me. Let me release your pain, stress and help you relax and manage
your body more efficiently. We can start a program together that fits your schedule. All you need to do is make the call.

My interest in therapeutic massage began back in 1996 when I was taught infant massage to help soothe my infant daughter who had broken her clavicle during birth.   I had always wanted to learn more about massage, but put my career in hold while I raised my children. Then, at the age of 40, I did it! After graduating from IVCC in 2016, I returned to receive my Advances Clinical certificate in 2017. This includes 3 aspects of healthcare: lifespan, chronic diseases, and musculoskeletal problems. In 2018, I   received my Oncology certificate from Illinois Central College, allowing me to work with Chemo patients at a local cancer center. I have worked along side several Physical Therapists, and before this I was fortunate to work along side a chiropractor from whom I learned much from. I use special tools such as cups and rock blades(Gua Sha or ASTm) to help my clients achieve maximum wellness.

During my time away from work I spend time at my home in Peru with my husband and our 7 children. I cherish my time with my grandchildren and I enjoy gardening, walking our dogs, watching movies and volunteering time at my church.
